Following what I had learned in this class, I wrote my own creative nonfiction essay: Meaningful One Month. 6 Ways to be a Hemingway-Level Productive Badass was one of what I had learned and discussed in this class and helped me to begin how to write creative nonfiction essay. So, my six steps goes like this:
1. Brainstorming
First of all, I did brain storming to get some ideas. So, I stand up and consider about what I had done for last month or walked around. Then, I made a huge chart on a center and wrote down some events which are related with the main idea. Therefore, the main idea is supposed to be a theme.
2. Introduction
Actually, making introduction is really hard to me even though I know my theme. As following what I learned in class, I just remembered that the hook should be important which means introduction should be interesting to people who will read my essay. If not, they lose their interest and feel boring.
3. Body
In this part, I could start as well. Because, I could write my story following the time even though there were some grammar problems.
4. Conclusion
I was stuck in this part due to I didn't know how to finish this essay up. Just saying like 'So, I had fun a lot' is so awkward and not interesting at all. Therefore, I searched on Google and asked my friend to get some ideas.
5. Check
After done all of introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs, there were supposed to be grammar problems or not matching sentences. Therefore, I double checked this shitty draft.
6. Revise
Shitty draft is not done essay, so I revised all of problem taking look my essay from beginning to end of essay.
